Volleyball Court in Joe's Oyster Bar

Joe's Oyster Bar has a regulation size sand volleyball court right in the bar!  During the day you can play volleyball on the sand court.  You can borrow a volleyball from the front desk of the hotel.  At night, tables are set up on the sand and it becomes part of the nightclub.  The volleyball court was proposed and designed by an American pro volleyball player, Jason, who lived in Mazatlán while going to high school and playing pro volleyball!  Jason is frequently in Mazatlán and you may run into him at Joe's Oyster Bar!

The volleyball court is closed in the evenings and during busy periods such as easter week(semana santa) to allow for extra tables and chairs.

Every year in November the staff of Joe's Oyster Bar has a tournament against the staff of the hotel.  If you are there at that time of year, it is fun to watch!
