Easter in Mazatlán is so busy with so many people you cannot even see the beach!

Easter, called 'Semana Santa' in Spanish, is the busiest time of the year in Mazatlán and at Joe's Oyster Bar!

There are so many people on the beach that you can't see the beach!  If you don't believe me, just look at the photo.

Easter in Mexico is the biggest holiday of the year.  Most Mexicans get a few days or the whole week off of work.  Millions of people from the interior of Mexico head for the beach resorts!  Mazatlán gets visitors from all over Mexico!

There may be line ups to get into Joe's Oyster Bar at times during easter week(semana santa).  Also, the volleyball court is usually closed because there are so many people and they need it for seating.

Also, this is the only time of the year where netting is put up to close off the beach front of the bar.  This is for the safety of those inside Joe's Oyster Bar.

There will be DJs/Guests: Nhas, Equis, Vladi, José Salas, Tronic, Pig Meléndez.

April 3, 2026 to April 5th: 2x1 beer for MX$110 all day long.

March 31, 2026: Cover of $120 from 9pm to 4am includes 2 beers or 1 domestic drink

April 1, 2026 - April 5, 2026: Day Cover of $150 from 11am to 8pm includes 2 beers or 1 domestic drink; Night Cover of $200 from 8pm to 4am includes 2 beers or 1 domestic drink

Joe's Oyster Bar will be open from 11am to 4am everyday.
