The Ramada Resort Mazatlán is one of the main hotels in the Golden Zone tourist zone in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico.  Until a few years ago, it was called the Hotel Los Sabalos.  Now, it is part of the Ramada hotel chain.  The hotel is located right on the beach in the Golden Zone which is the main tourist area in Mazatlán.  The clientele of this hotel was mainly Mexicans, but now that it is part of a big chain, has more Americans and Canadians.  The hotel is painted all white and has a unique cool design.  The balconies don't even look like balconies.  They seem to be enclosed, but aren't!  There are rooms with and without balconies.

The hotel is home to Joe's Oyster Bar, the best bar in all of Mazatlán!  Joe's Oyster Bar is located right on the beach.  You just need to walk through the hotel property, on the right, and you will enter Joe's Oyster Bar.  Also, the Joe's Oyster Bar store is located in the hotel complex right in front of the street.

The hotel has a spa and wellness centre, Spa Pyramides, on site where you can get a massage, manicure, facials, and exercise in the fitness center.  The hotel has one of the largest parking lots of any of the hotels in Mazatlán so if you have a vehicle you can park at the hotel.  Some of the other hotels do not have much parking.  The rooms have been updated and are quite modern.  The hotel has a small, but nice pool.

The hotel has a good restaurant next to the pool overlooking the ocean that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  There is a short path from the pool area into Joe's Oyster Bar where there is a full size volleyball court and the bar which also has food and drinks as well as good music.  There is beach access from the pool area as well as from Joe's Oyster Bar.  There are large permanent beach umbrellas on the beach in front of the hotel where you can get drinks from the bar.  The beach in front of the hotel is good, i.e. there aren't too many rocks.  Also, you can rent boogie boards, jet skis, etc. on the beach in front of the hotel.  Across the street, the hotel operates the Vittore Italian Grill which is one of the best Italian restaurants in Mazatlán!
