El Cid Golf Course
The El Cid resort has a 27 hole golf course built in 1996. Originally, it was an 18 hole course, then 9 more holes were added. The additional 9 holes were designed by Lee Trevino. It is PGA-rated and hosts Mexican and Canadian tour tournaments. The golf course is located in the residential part of the El Cid complex.= in the El Cid Granada Country Club. This is across the street from the beach where the El Cid hotel towers are located. The 18 hole course is a par 72, 6472 yard course. The El Cid has a driving range, putting green, club house, cart rentals, caddies, and a pro shop.
Estrella Del Mar Golf Course
The Estrella Del Mar resort has an 18 hole golf course. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The golf course is located near the beach in the Estrella Del Mar resort. The Estrella Del Mar resort is located near the airport on what is called 'Stone Island'. There is a road to the resort off of the road that leads to the airport. The 18 hole course is a 7004 yard course. A number of the fairways are located right next to the beach. This course has played host to the 2011 Mexican PGA Championship and the 2011 Junior America's Cup. Caddies are unavailable, but golf carts are included in the fee. Lessons are available. There is a pro shop.
Club Campestre Golf and Country Club Golf Course
Club Campestre is the local Mexican 9 hole golf course. It is 6,597 yards long. It is located at Camino Int'l al sur km 1195. Carts are not available, however caddies are available.
Marina Mazatlán Golf Course
There is a new 18 hole David Fleming designed golf course at Marina Mazatlán (north of El Cid) that opened in 2009.
